Platelet Monster- 2005

This image was a gift for my friend Amelia, who has leukemia. She made up a vampire named Cid Viscous who steals the platelets from her blood. I told her she needed a champion to fight for them against Viscous. So I drew her this platelet monster, who is surrounded by the clotting blood cells.
